It is based on the structure of the query, the response will have to be able to explain what questions are asked. Many students fail tests in no way because they're dull and uninterested but because they are unable to understand the questions being asked of them. Inability to explain the question correctly can lead to a wrong action or response. After a presentation, you must be satisfied when people ask you questions. Before you jump into answering the question, make sure you're in a state of mind what the question is. It is not a bad idea to start by looking for clarity about the question being asked. If you are asked politely "I am sorry, I'm unable to be able to understand what you're asking, would you mind rephrasing?" It's better to be more concise in this situation than just ranting about with no awareness or wisdom. Keep in mind that the purpose of answering questions is for you to contribute to the person trying to find an answer. Don't be a waste of time. Seek understanding first.

A way to increase your ability to answer your question in an accurate and objective way is if you give the person asking the question to finish asking. It is possible to prepare the person who is waiting for an answer by declaring "Let me think about it ..., Let me know." ..". This will ensure that the person does do not just sit and think that they aren't hearing You are merely ignoring or not paying attention.
