A question can be described as a sentence that asks for a reply or an answer. Every day, you get to ask to receive questions. You'll communicate more effectively with this approach than just ranting about with no clearness or comprehension. Keep in mind that the goal of answering questions is to make a positive contribution to the one who is seeking answers. Don't take time. Seek understanding first.

One way that can enhance your ability to answer the question in a meaningful and objective way is to ensure that you allow the person asking questions time to complete asking. Some people may take their time to clearly define what they want to know. A response to a question that is not given until it is completely asked could be as if you're being disrespectful. Don't presume you know what direction the inquiry is heading, so you must assist the individual to clarify the issue. If you're having time allow the person to "ramble" while you take note of the most important aspects. It gives you time to formulate and come up with your best solution to the question. Being able to listen can give you a high rate of success with regards to your answers to questions.

It is up to you to determine if you're qualified to answer this question or whether someone else is. Do you have the authority to speak regarding this issue (journalists can make you vulnerable even if you are not supposed to be a company's spokesperson)? How deep should the answer be? In the meantime, pauses and periods of silence will show that you're just producing whatever material you can think of in your mind, but a thought out answer is in the pipeline. You can actually prepare someone for an answer by asking "Let me think about it ..., Let me think." ..". This way, the person will take a break from thinking you've missed something that you're ignoring or ignoring. Thinking about the situation also allows you in coming up with suggestions that you'll feel good on later.
